Purpose of the Role:
Customer Service Representatives are the heartbeat of 3A and assure
our customers' needs are fulfilled by communicating and
collaborating with other departments across the business. CSR's
work with their assigned accounts as the primary interface for
customers to order products and provide inventory and pricing
information.
In this position, you will---
* Establish a good working relationship with established customer
accounts, providing product and order status information.
* Create positive customer experiences through our core values of
integrity, accountability, value creation, customer focus, team
spirit, continuous improvement, humility, respect and drive.
* Communicate information to customers regarding pricing, inventory
of material, and order entry of all 3A products in a manner that
will ensure complete customer satisfaction.
* Responsible for quoting of stock items as well as make to order
materials in a fast paced environment.
* Be the liaison between customers and operations. Partner with a
team of professionals in 3 manufacturing sites to provide best in
class customer service and account management.
* Work with field sales representatives and corporate sales
managers regarding special quotes, marketing initiatives, as well
as resolving customer complaints timely.
* Compile open order status information for customers upon
request.
* Participate in trade shows, initiate contact with customers and
observe products of other attendees and competition.
* Interact with customers on in-house visits at their facilities to
promote good customer/ACI relationships by personal contact rather
than phone contact only.
* Filing and administrative records retention.
* Work independently, performing many tasks with no direct
supervision.
The knowledge, skills, and abilities you will bring---
* Basic math, computer skills, Microsoft office applications,
ability to organize, prioritize and work under time
constraints.
* Professionalism and strong business communication and problem
solving skills.
* Customer focused mindset to create value and strong business
relationships with accounts.
* High School Diploma with previous Customer Service experience.
College preferred.
* Experience in export shipments a plus.
