    *The range provided is based on cost of living/geography and what we believe is reasonable in the market at the time of posting. This role may be eligible for annual bonus and annual merit increase, as well as long term compensation. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors.

      How You'll Perform the Role
      The Director, Sales - National Accounts is responsible for the creation and execution of strategies aimed to drive new, incremental business opportunities within the Commercial sales channel while delivering on existing customer commitments. S/he will identify new opportunities and pitch new product concepts with large national accounts, including but not limited to supermarkets, convenience stores, club channel and food processors.
      This position will report to a Sr. Director, Sales - National Accounts and work in close collaboration with our regional Commercial and Foodservice sales teams, Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance and HR.

      • Owns the strategy for National Accounts Sales within the Commercial channel across the United States and Canada, focusing on supermarkets, convenience stores, club channel, and food processors.
      • Oversee Lawn and Leaf business strategy and implementation.
      • Partners with Regional Sales Directors and Managers to execute strategic roadmap for National Accounts within the Commercial channel in their respective areas, exceeding annual growth targets, including margin improvement.
      • Foster a high-performing, metrics-driven sales culture by developing and implementing an integrated sales cadence, forecasting process, and operating plan.
      • Develop and cultivate key relationships within the assigned channels, focusing on top-to-top relationships with growth-oriented customers on incremental volume.
      • Obtain voice of customer and understand product needs and market trends through customer visits, attending trade shows, and relays that information to key stakeholders.
      • Communicate vertically and cross functionally to encourage debate and invite diverse perspectives to drive better business outcomes through collaboration and innovation.


        What We Need From You

        • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related discipline; MBA preferred
        • 10+ years' sales experience in a related or relevant industry; food packaging preferred
        • 5+ years' experience leading other sales professionals and strategy development
        • Skilled in use of Office suite of products.
        • Proven track record and ability to drive new, profitable sales growth
        • Strong cross-functional business acumen and understanding
        • Frequent domestic travel and the ability to travel internationally, as necessary
