The Correctional Nurse RN role is a part-time position providing essential patient care within the Iredell County Detention Center. Nurses are responsible for administering medications, evaluating patient conditions, and following established treatment plans while ensuring compliance with correctional regulations. Schedule: -2- - 12 hr Night shifts per week, 5:45a - 6:15a

Duties include, but are not limited to: -

• 
  
• Deliver patient care, evaluate symptoms, reactions, and progress of patients, chart results, establish nursing plans and work under the boundaries of State Scope of Practice and Guidelines, and Physician/Provider(s) -
  
• Administer prescribed medications in accordance with nursing standards & correctional regulations
  
• Follow through with established treatment plans
  
• Perform emergency intervention, physical assessment and critical thinking
