Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12-Hour Night Shift (19:00 - 07:30) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: 2 years required; first-time travelers welcome License: Must have license in hand at submission Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Must-Have: Cardiac telemetry experience, management and interpretation of dysrhythmias Job Description: - Work three 12-hour night shifts per week, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM - Rotate shifts on weekends and holidays as required - No on-call duties - Be prepared to float between health campuses if needed - Experience with cardiac telemetry essential - Capable of managing peripheral lines and PICC lines, as well as titrating drips - Handle patient ratios of 1:5 - Participate in a 16-hour orientation - Complete non-billable modules averaging 2-4 hours during orientation - EPIC experience preferred - Comply with COVID-19 and flu vaccine requirements; exemptions are considered for medical or religious reasons - Ensure no planned time off prevents compliance before the start date; travel compliance file needed by 12 noon EST on the Wednesday before starting Note: Travelers should reside outside a 50-mile radius from the workplace, as local candidates are not accepted.
