• Certification Details
• NC or compact RN license is required.
• AHA BLS certification is also required upon submittal.
  • Job Details
  • Registered Nurse for the Orthopedic Unit at UNC Health Pardee.
  • Start date will be 11/18.
  • Candidates will work with orthopedic, med/surg - total joint replacement patients including hip, knee, shoulder, spine patients, and patients who have had hip fractures.
  • The vast majority of patients are elective cases with 1-2 night stays.
    • Job Requirements
    • A minimum of 2+ years of ORTHO experience.
    • Must have completed at least 1 travel contract.
    • Prior experience with EPIC charting system is required.
      • Schedule Information
      • The contract is for 12-hour day shifts (0645-1915).
      • Rotation for weekends/holidays is every other.
      • The nurse to patient ratio is 6:1.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Float to MSO, PCU, Covid unit, etc. as needed.
        • Currently, there is no on-call requirement for this position.
          • Additional Details
          • Unit is considered an Auto-Offer unit.
          • Facility can cancel one shift biweekly without penalty.
