Job Description:
A facility with 20 beds in the department is seeking a general
surgeon for locum tenens coverage.The facility is located in
Rutherfordton, North Carolina.The position involves both scheduled
clinic hours and on-call duties, covering both outpatient and
inpatient settings. The provider will see 8-10 patients per shift,
with a call ratio of 1:3. Credentialing takes approximately 45
days. There is no trauma involved and no Advanced Practice Provider
(APP) support. The role includes 3-5 phone consultations.
