Job Description
The Balance Sheet Management (BSM) team within U.S. Bank's Corporate Treasury Division is looking for a Finance professional to lead the funds transfer pricing (FTP) framework. The BSM team is responsible for overall balance sheet strategy and return optimization, which FTP is a critical component of. The team works closely with business line product owners, Finance, and other stakeholders to support pricing strategies and profitability measurement. This position will be responsible for providing thought leadership to maintain a best-in-class FTP framework and direction to the teams responsible for FTP execution to prioritize strategic initiatives to meet changing business needs, identifying opportunities to enhance the framework, maintaining and supporting key assumptions with data and analytics, and overseeing the reporting and governance activities required under the FTP Policy.
The successful candidate will have:


  • Experience in a Corporate Treasury or related Finance role with a proven track record of delivering results
  • Strong analytical capabilities and technical proficiency in common financial analysis and reporting applications
  • Ability to lead teams and complex projects from start to finish to achieve desired results
  • Well-developed critical thinking, reasoning, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to all levels of an organization

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience
    • 13 or more years of relevant financial management experience
    • Five or more years of management experience

      Preferred Skills/Experience

      • Advanced knowledge of financial analysis concepts and methodologies
      • Previous experience working in the Corporate Treasury of a large financial services institution
      • Knowledge of bank financial statements and products
      • Understanding of bank pricing and profitability measures and economic drivers
      • MBA or CFA designation preferred

        The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
