- Develop and deliver complex data solutions to accomplish
technology and business goals.
- Code design and delivery tasks associated with the integration,
cleaning, transformation and control of data in operational and
analytics data systems.
- Participate in estimating work necessary to realize a
story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle.
- Code complex solutions to integrate, clean, transform and
control data in operational and/or analytics data systems per the
defined acceptance criteria.
- Build processes supporting data transformation, data
structures, metadata, data quality controls, dependency and
workload management.
- Define and build data pipelines that enable faster, better,
data-informed decision-making within the business.
- Interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency
across different stages of software development life cycle
including requirement elicitation, application architecture
definition and design.
- Create high level and detailed level design artifacts and
deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, performing
validation for all types of testing and support activities related
to implementation, transition and warranty.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of functional,
system, user and reporting requirements, including Use Cases,
Process Flow Diagrams, Report Specifications and Data Mapping &
Flow Diagrams.
- Perform data-governance and regulatory reporting initiatives
for a large bank from inception to completion and maintenance,
including: collecting business requirements, data analysis and
translation into Data Solutions Specifications.
- Utilize programming language, including Java, and J2EE and
databases Oracle, SQL Server, and Sybase.
- Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from
the worksite.REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering (any), Computer
Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Information
Systems or related; and
- 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job
offered or a related IT occupation.
- Must include 5 years of experience in each of the
following:
