Job Description:
Automation & Controls Engineer
LHH is partnered with a great manufacturing company that is seeking
an Automation & Controls Engineer to join their dynamic team. The
ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing,
programming, and maintaining PLC systems, specifically Allen
Bradley platforms. You will play a critical role in enhancing our
automation processes and ensuring optimal system performance.
Responsibilities:
Designs and develops new control systemsOversees and plans the
maintenance and modification of existing systemsManages the support
for a 24/7 production operationWorks collaboratively with design
engineers, operation engineers, IT, purchasers, and other internal
staffLiaising with clients, suppliers, contractors, and relevant
regulatory bodies (e.g., FDA)Project management within cost and
time constrained environmentsSets up systems for the
troubleshooting and problem-solving of IT systems, Industrial
Automation Systems, and Plant Floor InstrumentationUnderstands and
ensures compliance with the Health and Safety Regulations and
Quality standardsWrites specifications for new software
requirementsProvides troubleshooting help and guidance to the
plant's maintenance department as requiredAssists in the
development of a technical training program for the maintenance
department in the areas of process controls, electrical systems,
and instrumentationMaintains positive and service-oriented work
relationships with our customers, vendors, and internal operational
business partners
Required:
3-5 years of engineering experience within manufacturingElectrical
Engineering degree or related preferred.Industrial Manufacturing
Experience Required.
Job Location: Concord, NC
Salary Range: Up to 150k base
