Job Description:
Duties: Design, develop, test and implement Risk & Regulatory
solutions based on business requirements and strategic direction.
Collaborate with other Development teams, Production Services and Support teams
to enhance, develop, test, and maintain the DataMinder system and its
integration with other systems. Perform data migration from various messaging
systems for ingestion into DataMinder, to ensure regulatory compliance.
Identify and resolve errors. Create custom queries and reports, perform
query optimization, and develop customized solutions for existing
problems in the DataMinder application. Maintain, troubleshoot, optimize and
enhance Risk and Regulatory applications. Communicate with technical and
non-technical groups to provide technical support. Detect and solve technology
delivery issues. Ensure that contingency plans are in place related
to system/application availability. Requirements: Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent)
in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related
analytical field and 2 years of experience performing DataMinder and SQL development
for eCommerce surveillance applications; or, in the alternative, a
Bachelor's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science,
Engineering, Mathematics, or related analytical field and 5 years of
experience as indicated above. Also requires: demonstrated expertise (DE) performing .Net
Design and Development using Visual Studio, SQL Server, and JavaScript; DE
performing SQL development, including stored procedures, triggers, and
functions; DE in design, custom development and upgrades using DataMinder for
eCommerce surveillance; DE performing database ETL using Informatica; DE
interfacing with compliance teams to analyze eCommerce surveillance
requirements and understand data and reporting needs, and translating
requirements into customized design, implementation and data analysis; and DE
analyzing FINRA rules 17A-4: e-communication capture and retention, and 3000:
supervision requirements to ensure that implemented eCommerce surveillance
